Zodiac returns to Toronto this year after spending last year in Rochester. A truly international Ultimate event. \nFor those of you unfamiliar with Zodiac\, it is a 2-day\, spirited\, mixed gender twelve-team hat tournament. Each player signs up as an individual and is put on a team with fellow players of the same zodiac sign. The tournament was the brainchild of Toronto’s celestial gurus Bob Anglin and Brian Parkinson. After the 3rd year in Toronto\, it was decided to make the tournament an international affair by alternating the locale between Toronto and Rochester. Although Bob and Brian are no longer with the tournament\, their spirit lives on! \nZodiac attracts a mixture of all levels of players from experienced touring players to new recreational level players. Although the team you are on was determined long ago by fate\, only by actively signing up can you become part of this unique event. A truly international Ultimate event. \nFor those of you unfamiliar with Zodiac\, it is a 2-day\, spirited\, mixed gender twelve-team hat tournament. Each player signs up as an individual and is put on a team with fellow players of the same zodiac sign. The tournament was the brainchild of Toronto’s celestial gurus Bob Anglin and Brian Parkinson. After the 3rd year in Toronto\, it was decided to make the tournament an international affair by alternating the locale between Toronto and Rochester. Although Bob and Brian are no longer with the tournament\, their spirit lives on! \nZodiac attracts a mixture of all levels of players from experienced touring players to new recreational level players. Although the team you are on was determined long ago by fate\, only by actively signing up can you become part of this unique event. Smaller teams than ultimate\, and a little bit less full-field running – we can’t wait to see you there! \nGoaltimate Rules\n\n4 on 4 – with subbing on the fly (outgoing player must exit the field before new player enters). Minimum 1 of each gender on the field\, no gender matching enforced.\nStall Count of 5 – can be counted by any person from anywhere on the field. If the game is tied\, finish the point. If the disc is released before the hard cap goes and caught in the endzone\, the point counts.\nNotes:\n\nSome versions of Goaltimate allow setting picks – we are currently playing WITH picks.\nPlayers may not break the plane of the hoop when passing for a goal.
