Toronto’s top Women’s team, the 6ixers, had a fantastic debut weekend at Team Cananda’s Women’s Masters’ Tune Up held at Cedarvale Park and Toronto Rush’s Women’s showcase game.
In the Saturday tournament, the 6ixers swept their games 4-0, with excellent match ups against PPF (13-12), Terra (13-4), Team Canada Women’s Masters (11-7) and Stella (12-9). Thanks to VC for swag prizes.
Sunday, Toronto 6ixers faced Team Canada Women’s Masters for a showcase game before the AUDL game between Toronto Rush and Montreal Royals. There was a great crowd for a spectacular exhibition of women’s ultimate talent from across the country. The timed 40-minute game went by quickly and this time, Team Canada Women’s Masters took the game 7-5.
